    • The Compost and Manure offer will take place in the Autumn

During the Winter, from October to April, talks are held on gardening and associated matters on the third Tuesday of every month (except December), in the Methodist Church, starting at 7:15pm for 7:45.

Entry £1-00 includes coffee. Visitors are Welcome.

    • VISITS

    • During summer, visits are made to gardens and establishments of interest.  In 2015, visits have been made to Burrow Farm Gardens and to Lydeard House Gardens.  In addition, a joint visit with the Milverton & Fitzhead Society was made on 15th July to East Lambrook Manor Gardens and Sexey's Hospital at Bruton, attended by 28 members and guests.  In July 2016 a very successful visit to Seaton Tramway and Cadhay Manor was made by 29 members (a busfull).   The weather was sunny. Twenty members visited RHS Rosemoor Gardens on the 10th September, with free entry as part of our affiliated membership of the RHS.  There was also a craft market and an art exhibition, and the weather was rather better than forecast, with some weak but welcome sunshine.

In 2017, Th Club joinedwith the Milverton & Fitzhead Society for a visit to Tyntesfield in July.

    • SEEDS

We also order Seeds from Sutton's in winter, for delivery in Spring.  Reduction in retail prices can be as high as 50%, if enough orders are placed.  Catalogues are available from 15 Woodbarton or Fairfield Steppes, Wood Street.
