During summer, visits are made to gardens and establishments of interest. In 2015, visits have been made to Burrow Farm Gardens and to Lydeard House Gardens. In addition, a joint visit with the Milverton & Fitzhead Society was made on 15th July to East Lambrook Manor Gardens and Sexey's Hospital at Bruton, attended by 28 members and guests. In July 2016 a very successful visit to Seaton Tramway and Cadhay Manor was made by 29 members (a busfull). The weather was sunny. Twenty members visited RHS Rosemoor Gardens on the 10th September, with free entry as part of our affiliated membership of the RHS. There was also a craft market and an art exhibition, and the weather was rather better than forecast, with some weak but welcome sunshine.
In 2017, Th Club joined with the Milverton & Fitzhead Society for a visit to Tyntesfield in July.
In 2018, the Club again joined with the Milverton & Fitzhead Society to visit Sherborne Castle. 40 members and guests enjoyed the Interior of the castle and the Capability Brown garden, which includes a 50 acre lake.
