Helen Scribbins, founder of HFS Bookkeeping Services, has over 30 years experience in bookkeeping, payroll and administration. Originally trained in manual payroll and bookkeeping to Trial Balance in manufacturing, Helen went on to do temping work in Central London, working in diverse industries such as Palace Pictures, Ernst & Young, Britannia Encyclopaedias, London Contemporary Dance School and the Society of Friends (the Quakers), broadening and strengthening her skills and experience in both manual and computerised systems. Following over ten years as project manager in the software duplication and printing industry, Helen relocated to Somerset to work as the sole bookkeeper and administrator for a small charity, then as bookkeeper for a local SME and then for a building repair company. During this time Helen completed her 'Financial Accounting' and 'Management Accounting' study modules with the Open University, equivalent to the 'Professional Certificate in Accounting', as part of her BSc (Open) degree. With qualifications and a good deal of experience in providing bookkeeping, payroll and administratration Helen founded HFS Bookkeeping Services. Helen is profficient in Sage 50, Sage Payroll, Access Accounts, Xero and Quickbooks as well as the Microsoft Office Suite.
In her spare time Helen is Treasurer of a local charity 'The Milverton Trust' and a trustee of 'The Wiveliscombe Community Swimming Club'.Click to Edit..
